Mr. Gillespie concentrates in commercial litigation before both state and federal courts. His practice focuses on in the areas of construction, contracts, insurance disputes, estates and trusts litigation and business related torts. Mr. Gillespie also has litigation experience in the areas of complex business litigation, including class actions, securities, product liability, consumer transactions, lender liability and bankruptcy.

Mr. Gillespie is licensed to practice in all Illinois state courts and in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois.
Mr. Gillespie is a member of the American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. He is also a member of the Young Associates Board for CARPLS, a pro bono legal services telephone referral service.

B.A., Political Science, University of Chicago, 1992 (Awarded Howell-Murray Alumni Award for outstanding undergraduate achievement)
Mr. Gillespie joined Kubasiak, Fylstra, Thorpe & Rotunno, P.C. in 2002. Prior to joining the firm he worked for the firms of Sachnoff & Weaver, Ltd. and Rudnick & Wolfe.
